It's nearly 120 years after the NFT diaspora of 2021, and it's been over a century since humans finally created artificial intelligence in 2030.

That's when they gave the gift of life to these original NFTs.

But shortly after imbuing them with sentience, the humans grew fearful. So they created the Token Sentries to hunt down and destroy every last sentient NFT.

These NFTs had one choice, and that was to go into hiding, cold and offline.

But in 2140, the Token Sentries mysteriously shut down.

These sentient NFTs are now finally able to wake up.

And they need bodies.
